Monterey Bay Aquarium: Seahorses

One of the main reasons I wanted to go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium was for the exhibit of the Secret Lives of Seahorses. This one is a close up of the head of a Leafy Sea Dragon.

These were mini seahorses, not babies. These might be the ones the Aquarium called Dwarf Seahorses

A full shot of the Leafy Sea Dragon. A group of them were all together at the bottom of the tank. It was like they were all stuck together, but they seemed fine.

This was is the same one at the top.

These are little babies.

This is the second stage after being born.

And third -- A little bigger.

I don't recall what these black ones are called.

This is was either the Pacific Seahorse or a Longsnout Seahorse. They were so bright and vibrant in the tanks.

Same as the one before.

Another set of the black ones, which I don't recall the same to.

A bit dark, but I liked the way the seahorse was rapped in the green plants.
