Holiday Hay Ride at Jackson Rancheria

Jackson Rancheria has been doing holiday hay rides, which contains more than two million lights. The event also have a visit from Santa for the kiddies and cookies with coffee and coco for the ride.

Here's some of the shots from the light. I wish the tractors weren't so shaky -- So I just started playing around with some shots, since it wasn't steady enough to get a crisp shot of the holiday lights.

This was when we were stopped at Santa's house and the end of the trail of lights and I used my "Light Speed" trick.

So this is the start of it.....

And this is a little faster "speed."

Again just playing.

Jewels was so excited while standing in line.

This is about the best shot while moving on the tractor.

Jewels telling Santa she was a yellow car and pink camera.

Page and I while in line.

Christmas baking with the family

The other day I did some Christmas baking with mom, Jewels and a little bit with Jonathan.

Here are some of the shots from the day.

These are rosettes. My mom and brother (Jonathan) used to makes hundreds of these cookies years ago and weren't even on the list to make this morning, but I wanted to make some to show my friend Erika.

Little mini break with Jewels and took this shot while the light was streaming in through the window.

Some of my chocolate candies (from the molds Jonathan and Page bought me last year) and the sugar cookies in the backdrop.

Jewels rolling the dough for the snickerdoodles, which are my older brother's (Andy) favorite cookies.

Jonathan came in to help me make the candies.

The finished rosettes with the candies in the backdrop.

Jewels stole my bag of melted chocolate.

These mint kisses were added to the peanut butter cookies in the back.

I had leftover caramel from the caramel candies so we made one caramel apples them made caramel apples pieces.

Finding the tree {2010}

The weekend after Thanksgiving we always go up and pick out a tree for my mom. Here are some of my shots for the day.

Last year there wasn't snow and this year we had snow, cold and rain.

Our little snowman. (sorry it's side ways and it's late so I may fix it later).

Daddy walking me around.

"It's so cold."

And the tree which was picked out.

Sacramento Fish Hatchery

My mom took Jewels, Page and I to the Sacramento Fish Hatchery to see the trout swim up for spawning.

Some eggs which were taken from of the trout. We missed the "birthing," but these were awaiting our arrival.

Can you see the trouts opening their mouths to get the little pellets of food.

Jewels having fun while walking to the fish.

This was a big guy going for some food.

Here's mom and Page playing with Jewels.

Going crazy for some food.

And Page playing around.

They are really jumping.

This vehicle in the back was shooting out hella food making the fish jump as it went by.

Here are some of the rainbow trout.

Some more of these purple flowers.

These big guys are making their way up to "give birth."
