California State Fiar 2010 {Motocross}

The final set of photos I have from the California State Fair is the motocross event James and I went to watch. Three guys showed off their many tricks and here are some of the best shots.

California State Fiar 2010 {Petting Zoo}

The final animal blog from the California State Fair. This time it's from the petting zoo -- A good use of $3 in my book. I love the animals.

The few pigs inside were pretty tired.

Three deer also roomed around in the petting zoo. They were too cute. One kept trying to eat people's shoe laces and clothes -- Needles to say it didn't work.

Here are some more shots of the animals at the California State Fair. In this set of photos you'll see the goats, cows, one shot from the insect area, and the babies in the nursery.

Baby lamb, but I couldn't get a great shot, but I still really liked this shot.

And the baby pigs. Too cute.

California State Fiar 2010 {Fur and birds}

One of the exhibits was called Fur and Birds and had bunnies, birds, chicks, and many other little furry pets.

My favorite bunny shot of the day.

The little baby chicks who were only a couple days off at this point.

Another cute bunny. Some of the colors were just beautiful.

And some were huge.

More little chicks, but these were older.

And Dalmatian bunnies (not really called that, but I liked it).

These were called lion heads.

Eight buildings contained all the exhibit entries. I didn't take photos in each one (and most shots are in the animation room.

Building 1 = Photos and digital art
Building 2 = Food
Building 3 = Metal shop stuff and more photos
Building 4 = Cycling
Building 5 = Animation
Building 6 = Fur and birds (these photos will be in the animal blogs)
Building 7 = Sculpture and museum type stuff -- some from the Crocker Art Museum
Building 8 = Crafty (scrapbooking, quilts, clothes)

This quilt made me think of a scene in Twilight's third movie Eclipse. Bella's mom made her a quilt out of the trip t-shirts and I saw this and thought of that small scene.
